Diversity depends on life to exist. Diversity without life is darkness and meaningless.
It’s so boring today when all films and other storytelling forms have exactly the same set-up and quota of people from different origins, genders, etc. Nothing becomes unique or striking or gets that wow feeling. At least that’s my experience.
It was much better in the past, when the story itself was put first, and the creators’ own passions and interests were allowed to bring it to life.
Then you might say “but all films back then revolved around the same type of people”.
Well?! If that’s the case – embark on your own journey of becoming a creator and storyteller! Just like the people you criticize have embarked on theirs! If what you create has value, it will pay off in one way or another! 💪
All (genuine) creators come into contact with the divine mysteries. So you could say that it is God who guides their hand in writing and recording.
