I now fully understand what the Bible means when it says that Satan can come as an “angel of light”. That may seem misleading at first, but it only means that when you come into contact with a spiritual being or vision, you may need to verify what you see further, if God’s guidance calls for it, by listening to God’s voice and signs within you. For the Evil One also uses light to deceive people, because he has received light but then uses it for evil purposes. Therein lies the answer to the mystery of the verse.
