The heart of diversity

How can diversity have any meaning, if diversity of thought is rejected? How can diversity in people’s external worlds be of any value, if diversity in their inner worlds is banished? The former is superficial while the latter is essential (both literally and figuratively).

Our inner worlds are our most intimate parts. How can one seek to control them? (And the people who do that criticize fascism! A deeply disturbing double standard, indeed.)
