When I have seen people in the past, whether their skin is white or black or anything else, I have never even once looked at them and thought “oh, that’s a black person” or “oh, that’s a white person”.
Up until recently, where the constantly contended issues in which (in my view) irrelevant weight is given to race have been promulgated by so called “anti-racists” and “anti-racism”.
They have infected the thoughts of my mind with the dark side of race.
Of course, I used to notice the shade of a person’s skin, and it does have some share in the streams of life, as with everything else in existence.
But never did I give any deeper thought to it, and instead appreciated the person in front of me for the unique person they are, regardless of their race.
Seeing race is fine and natural, but it shouldn’t matter too deeply, and in my experience, that’s how it used to be. But is has been turned upside down.
Then one may say “oh, but certain industries favor one particular race”.
I plan to write about this in coming posts, but in short;
then create your own vision and manifest your own desires.
Set the change you want to see in motion by yourself. Do not wait for others.
You are free to do all this, and others are free to do the same, even those we disagree with.
If what you produce is of value and appreciated, even if not grandiose, then it will speak for itself and you will also rise and get to shine, and so will the people you find related affinity to. The world will witness what you’ve become.
I once saw a quote in a movie, that said,
“Ideas have wings.
Chahine
No one can stop their flight.”
This speaks in your favor, that the ideas you have and the endeavors you produce will have a life on their own, and can take flight even if you are not fortunate enough to participate in it personally and sufficiently.
But it also means that we cannot control the ideas of others, for it is futile and detrimental. Nor can we control what people like and don’t like and expect a certain outcome.
I strongly believe that most of us have some possibility that waits to be discovered, even if we don’t see it. If you knew me personally, you would know that if you asked me some years back in time, never, and I mean never, would I have been able to foresee the point by which I am today, and nor would have anyone around me. But I made the impossible. I have been patient and built little by little. And as you may very well know, little by little builds up. There is always meaning, truly.
Let us go back to the good old days, please.
