I feel bad for people when they feel that they have to conform to political ideals, even though they disagree with them, in their career and endeavors.
But then I realize; just like it’s wise to “read the room”, perhaps it’s also wise to “read the world”. But I really wish we as a society could value genuineness over expectations.
